As an Account Executive - Rental Portfolio, Leasing & Fleet Services, you will be responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of commercial rental accounts while identifying opportunities to expand client relationships through Summit Fleet's broader leasing and fleet management solutions. Reporting to the Summit Fleet leadership team, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to commercial clients, helping them secure the right transportation solutions to support their business operations.

This role combines account management, client retention, business development, and consultative sales. Working closely with rental operations, leasing, fleet services, and support teams, you'll help clients maximize fleet performance while creating opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen long-term partnerships.

• Developing and growing an assigned portfolio of commercial rental accounts.
• Building strong client relationships through proactive communication, exceptional service, and strategic account management.
• Understanding client operations and recommending transportation solutions that support their business objectives.
• Identifying and pursuing new rental and fleet business opportunities within your assigned market.
• Presenting proposals, recommendations, and commercial transportation solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Expanding client relationships by introducing Summit Fleet's leasing, fleet management, maintenance, telematics, and fuel management services.
• Monitoring account activity, vehicle utilization, renewal opportunities, and evolving customer needs.
• Collaborating with Rental Operations, Fleet Services, Leasing, and Client Support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Supporting account profitability through effective pricing and timely resolution of client concerns.
• Maintaining accurate pipeline, account, opportunity, and sales activity data within CRM platforms.
• Staying current on market trends, competitive activity, fleet management best practices, and commercial transportation solutions.
• Participating in ongoing sales training, product education, and professional development opportunities.
• Achieving and exceeding portfolio growth, retention, and revenue targets.
• Supporting additional projects and responsibilities as required.

• At least two years in account management, commercial vehicle rental, fleet services, leasing, automotive sales, or a related industry.
• A talent for building lasting client relationships and uncovering growth opportunities.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• The ability to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that drive business results.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Knowledge of fleet management, vehicle leasing, commercial rentals, or transportation services.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Postsecondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
