Overview

Position Summary

 

The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of OEM parts to wholesale customers, internal departments, and other designated locations. This role supports the dealership’s parts operations by ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining delivery vehicles, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed. The Parts Driver represents the dealership professionally while helping maintain efficient parts flow and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver OEM parts to wholesale customers, service shops, and internal departments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions.
  • Verify parts orders for accuracy before loading and delivering.
  • Collect signatures and documentation as required for parts deliveries.
  • Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures, dealership policies, and traffic regulations.
  • Assist with parts warehouse duties such as stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing orders.
  • Support the parts team with general tasks during non‑delivery periods.
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in delivery driving, automotive parts, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and reliable demeanor.
  • Ability to lift and move parts and boxes as required (typically up to 50 lbs.)
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic automotive parts is an asset but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
