Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Sales & Acquisition Associate to join our dealership team.

This role is uniquely positioned within the Service Drive, where you will engage with Service and Parts customers to identify opportunities for vehicle trade-ins and acquisitions.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess each customer’s “opportunity to do business” (OTDB), determine their interest in upgrading or selling their current vehicle, and present tailored solutions—whether trading into a new vehicle or receiving a competitive cash offer.

Competitive pay plan.  We can offer full commission or base pay + commissions

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage Service and Parts customers during their visit to assess interest in trading or selling their current vehicle.
  • Conduct quick needs assessments to identify OTDB opportunities and match customers with potential upgrade options.
  • Generate and present competitive cash offers for customer vehicles, leveraging dealership and OEM tools.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Service, and Used Car Management teams to ensure smooth customer handoffs and transaction flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and leads in the CRM system.
  • Educate customers on the value of trading or selling through the dealership versus third-party alternatives.
  • Support dealership acquisition goals by consistently meeting or exceeding monthly vehicle procurement and trade-in targets.
  • Represent the dealership brand with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by dealership leadership or OEM partners.
  • Monday to Friday 7:30 – 4pm.   Evening and weekends optional

  •

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years prior automotive retail experience in sales, service advising, or appraisals preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Comfort engaging with customers in a fast-paced, face-to-face environment.
  • Self-motivated “goal getter” with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Basic computer proficiency; CRM or dealership software experience a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
